The 1st log is online: here

Here is very latest news:

UPDATE from Co-leader Tony EA5RM:

We have two working yagis and verticals for 30 and 40m. Another yagi is ready and waiting until we finish with shack intallation. People at the Hotel are cooperating with us. Later today the last beam will be installed. The 6 meter yagi will be raised tomorrow and last antenna will be 80 meters and this will be done tomorrow or next day.

UPDATE from Co-leader Paul N6PSE:

The teams arrived in Juba yesterday. We have now been QRV for 24hrs on CW and SSB. We are putting more antennas and stations on the air today. Our hotel internet is broken so it is difficult to communicate to the outside world at this time other than via radio. All stations should be active tomorrow until August 10th.

Additionally, Fernando EA8AK passes this info:

All is OK. Now are QRV on 20CW and 15 SSB. Working with antenas and rigs to complete installation. No 6 and 160 at least for the moment. ST0R will be QRV in a few hours (2-3 h) in 4 bands simultaneously, mainly 18 and 10m, where condx are nice.

Last night they were on 30 and 40 CW working EU, JA, N and South America, even VK and ZS.

The authorities are cooperative and the people very nice, but very hard wx – hot, high humidity, “mosquitos” and too much poverty.
