DU – PHILIPPINES

Hams in the Philippines may now operate 7.200 to 7.300 MHz. Other changes include individual callsigns for those who pass the examination but do not own a radio; a new foundation license class and availability of vanity callsigns. There will also be some new VHF/UHF frequencies. “B” and “C” class operators will not be allowed to operate mobile. The minimum age for the foundation (D) license is NINE years of age. Internet “convergence” will now be allowed.
An exam question pool committee will be formed
